1977
Started with Air Conditioning , Electrical and appliance work with my Grandfather .
1984
Received certificate in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration from Southern Oklahoma Area Technology Center.
1986
Received an Associates degree in electronics from Murray State College, and have been doing appliance repair and electronics repair ever since.
2015
I had my own business, Hart’s Repair Plus until February 2015. but closed due to health reasons. Tried the retirement thing and just did not like it, I enjoy repairing things too much to stop. Peggy Shaffer at Houser Furniture talked me to coming back into the appliance repair business, and with the promise of no paperwork how could I refuse! Now I get to do what I enjoy and not the time consuming paperwork.
2018 – Present
Peggy later decided to sell the store resulting in two new companies with myself now serving as owner and lead technician of the service side now called Houser Service, and Troy Golden becoming the new owner of the retail side.
